5 Reasons Why Everyone Needs RXBARs in Their Life

I’m sure many of you have heard of the product called the RXBAR. In case you haven’t, you’re in for a treat. In recent years, I’ve seen protein bars take a turn for the worse. Either they’re filled with sugar, synthetic protein powder, artificial sweeteners, or all of the above. However, in 2013, a revolutionary idea was born. Two old friends started this business from the ground up with one simple idea: no B.S. Here are some of the main reasons why I believe RXBARs are different from all the rest, and why everyone should give them a try.

1. Absolutely No Added Sugar Or Artificial Sweeteners

Recently, it seems like a losing battle to try to avoid added sugar. Practically every single product at the grocery store contains some quantity of added sugar, and usually, it’s not just a little. Many Americans find themselves addicted to sugar, and the food industry is only using this to their benefit. The main sugar source in each and every bar are dates, a chewy, naturally sweet fruit. Because RXBARs use dried fruit, this product is a refreshing, desperately needed addition to the snack market.

2. Protein You Can Actually Pronounce

Mysterious protein products with enigmatic and unnatural ingredients are currently dominating the protein bar market, despite the availability of wholesome protein out there! RXBARs have joined the revolution of using wholesome, natural ingredients as a protein source and I hope to see it continue to become even more of a trend. The creators of RXBARs decided to use egg whites as the main protein source, which is a great source of natural protein and is easily absorbed within the body. Putting egg whites in a protein bar is seriously genius because we, as consumers, know exactly what that looks like.

3. Packed With Healthy Fats

I think it’s about time we put a stop to the irrational fear of fats. Current research is starting to highlight that fats, specifically monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats, play a huge role in benefiting overall health. So why do we constantly try to avoid them? Luckily, it seems as if fats are finally making a comeback. There are various nuts and legumes within every RXBAR, including pecans, cashews, almonds, and peanuts. All of these are sources of the unsaturated fats our body needs. Plus, they add a little bit of extra texture and flavor as well!

4. No B.S.

The “No B.S.” factor of the RXBAR is what’s attracting most of its attention. We live in a world where we are constantly being fed information about what’s healthy and what’s not, what products will make you lose weight, what foods we should be avoiding. And the scary thing is, majority of the time, we don’t even know what these products are made of, where they came from, or how they will actually affect our health. The RXBAR is a breath of fresh air for us as consumers! These products don’t contain any gimmicks. Rather, they only contain about 6 ingredients, each of which are wholesome, nutrient-dense foods. There is finally a snack that we can count on to provide wholesome, no B.S. nutrition.

5. They’re Super Tasty!

It may sounds too good to be true, but believe it or not, something this nutritious can actually taste good! The dates provide just the right amount of sweetness needed for a tasty snack on the go. The nuts and legumes make account for great texture. I’ve found that these bars are very chewy, which personally, I like because I tend to take my time while snacking, which is something that is often forgotten.

RXBARs are providing the simple and nutritious snack that we’ve been waiting for. Our bodies are meant to be consuming simple foods with simple ingredients and here they are! So what are you waiting for?! Go out and grab some of these super hero bars!
